We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, phone), information generated through your use of the Service (transaction records, uploaded documents, activity logs), and technical information (IP address, browser type, cookies).

We use collected information to provide and improve the Service, authenticate users, process payments through our billing provider (Stripe), send transactional and product emails, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on AWS infrastructure (RDS PostgreSQL, S3) located in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. No transmission over the internet is 100% secure; you use the Service at your own risk.
4. Third-Party Services
DocCloud uses the following third-party services that may process your data: Stripe for payment processing, Amazon Cognito for authentication, Amazon S3 for file storage, and Resend for transactional email. Each service has its own privacy policy.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with third-party service providers necessary to operate the Service, and as required by law. Customer documents are accessible only to members of the same organization workspace.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Upon account cancellation, data may be retained for up to 90 days before deletion, except where required by law.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. We will respond within 30 days. Note that some data may be retained for legal or legitimate business purposes.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You cannot opt out of essential cookies without losing access to the Service.
